After activating the account and adding the Wallet, this is an empty wallet overview.
The wallet and marketplace dashboard within the Friddy platform. Assuming a first-time user is already logged in, here are the steps for onboarding them, focusing on the elements visible:
1. Wallet Overview:
Highlight Balance:
Point out the prominent $100.00 USD balance, explaining this is the user's available funds for marketplace transactions.
Briefly mention the "+ $100.00" button, indicating it's for adding more funds if needed.
Show the "Withdraw" option, but clarify withdrawals may have limitations or fees, to be explored later.
Transaction History (If Visible):
If the breakdown below the balance shows recent transactions, use it as an example:
"Here's where you'll see your spending or earnings on the marketplace."
If it's empty, reassure the user it will populate as they use Friddy.
2. Marketplace Introduction:
Explain the Concept:
"The Marketplace is where you buy and sell digital goods, like gift cards."
"Each row is a different vendor, offering various brands/amounts at their set prices."
Guide Through a Row (Example):
Pick a row with clear info (e.g., one with a logo the user will recognize).
"This row is for Amazon gift cards."
"You can see they have 15 in stock, the price is $2000 each, and their rate is 75%."
Explain "rate" briefly: "It indicates how much of your money goes to the seller, affecting your potential profit."
Point out the "Buy" button, but don't click yet.
3. Making a Purchase (Optional Demo):
Cautious Approach:
Ask the user, "Would you like me to show you how to buy something, or prefer to explore on your own?"
Respect their choice; onboarding is to empower, not force actions.
If Demoing:
Click the "Buy" button on the chosen item.
(If there's a quantity option) Explain how to select the desired amount.
Walk through any confirmation screens or payment method choices that appear.
DO NOT complete the purchase unless the user explicitly asks and understands it's real money.
4. Additional Tips:
Point out Filtering: The top-right "Filter" button lets users narrow down the marketplace. Explain how this can be helpful.
Mention Reputation: While not shown in the image, most marketplaces have seller ratings/reviews. Tell the user where to find these to make informed choices.
"My Digital Assets": This section likely shows the user's purchased items. Explain they'll manage them there.
Encourage Exploration: Tell the user to browse, compare prices, and ask questions if they have any.
Important Note:
Safety First: Remind the user that real money is involved. Advise against sharing account info, and to be wary of deals too good to be true.
Platform Rules: Friddy likely has terms of service. Encourage the user to read them to understand any restrictions or fees.
